MAT Exam

All India Management Association conducts the Management Aptitude Test four times every year. It has already conducted three tests in February and May, and September 2018 and the next exam is scheduled for December 2018. If you are a MAT aspirant, then there is a lot to read here for you.

MAT Exam 2018:

As the all the three MAT exams of 2018 are over, the final exam is only left. The date for the last exam is scheduled for December 02, 2018 on Sunday from 10 AM to 12 PM. The syllabus for the MAT exam would be the same as for the previous papers. The exams would be conducted in two different patterns. One would be the offline mode, and the other would be an online mode. The exams would be conducted in two phases for the paper-based test and computer-based test, and it would start from December 02 to December 15, 2018.

The registration for MAT exam will start from October 05, 2018 and will end on November 20, 2018. You are required to fill the form within the time frame with all the necessary information regarding your career profile, education, personal details, contact details, photograph, and fees. The fees for registration is Rs 1550 and if the candidate wants to sit in both the exams then he must pay Rs 1100 in addition to Rs 1550.

Other Details Regarding MAT 2018:

Admit card for Paper-Based Exam Aspirants will be available from November 25, 2018, till the day of examination that is Dec 02. For Computer Based Exam aspirants, admit card will be available from Dec 12, 2018, to Dec 15, 2018. As usual, there would be 200 questions asked from the five sections, and you would be allowed to write the exam within 2 and a half hours. There are five sections from which questions will be asked. They are:

  • Language Comprehension
  • Mathematical Skills
  • Data Analysis and Comprehension
  • Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
  • Indian and Global Environment

There is no negative marking for wrong answers, and you would be awarded one marks for each correct answer. The result will be declared by December 25, 2018, and the validity of the result would be for one year. Private management institutions widely accept MAT score across India for MBA and PGDM courses. A score of 650+ is considered a safe score for admissions to top management colleges while a 700+ score guarantees you admission to your favorite colleges.
